We are gathering to bring readers together to discuss, share, and learn more about what we read and each other! All meetings will be from 12-1pm in the Sloss House – participates are encouraged to bring their lunch; we have a microwave and an oven to warm it up.

Professional Development Reading Group

Interested in sharing articles or seeing what others are reading? Are there current topics or events that you’d like to make time to discuss in more depth? If so, consider coming to the Sloss House and participating in The Professional Development Reading Group Meeting. Too often we find ourselves not taking the time to read and discuss important information. This is a great opportunity to connect with diverse perspectives / colleagues from around campus.

Take Time Tuesday’s
New at the Sloss House is Take Time Tuesdays from 12-1pm. Once a month during the Spring Semester, we will host a lunch time discussion surrounding a variety of topics that will be announced on the Margaret Sloss Women’s Center homepage: www.dso.iastate.edu/wc. Bring your own lunch; we have a microwave and an oven to warm it up. We will provide coffee and tea.
